Eco-friendly Toothpaste Tabs

Have you ever tried Toothpaste tabs before?

I was skeptical at first, but then learned about how harmful conventional toothpaste tubes are!

More than 900 million toothpaste tubes enter our landfills & oceans each year on a global scale. Each toothpaste tube will take over 500 years to break down. Sadly, toothpaste tubes are not accepted by municipal recycling and won't be accepted (Change Toothpaste, 2022).

Inspired by their children, Change Toothpaste owners, Damien & Mike, created toothpaste tabs without harsh chemicals & packaged them in sustainable pouches made from cellulose; a completely compostable material derived from wood fibres!

They even have tin containers and bamboo toothbrushes!

That means you can compost them in your backyard compost, indoor vermicompost or into your municipal compost facilities! They're certified compostable & manufactured under the EN 13432 standard.

I am completely obsessed with the cinnamon and spearmint flavours! I totally replaced my conventional toothpaste with these at home.

I appreciate how portable they are and have brought them camping and hiking with me. You can place them into a tin for easy transport.
