Covid-19 Safety Measures

Updated: Feb 27, 2022

To ensure maximum fun during a global pandemic, we've outlined some rules for keeping one another safe and healthy.

We will continue adapting these safety procedures as the situation evolves in order to keep everyone safe! If you have questions or concerns, please email Kaitlyn.

Safety Measures:

- Daily Screening: All participants MUST be verbally screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to drop-off. If your child does not pass the daily screening, please keep them home and email Kaitlyn for their absence. Consult this website for next steps on what to do. In addition, if someone from your household does not pass the screening, the attending child MUST stay at home until Covid-19 is ruled out for all household members.

- At-Program Screening: If a child is dropped off and exhibits any of the symptoms, they will be sent home immediately.

- Physical Distancing: Physical distancing will take place for all activities. Games will be modified to include a "no-touch" policy. Children will be reminded throughout program to maintain 6-feet distance.

- Masking: Masking is optional and based on caregiver's preferences. We will wear our masks indoors when we use the public indoor washroom facility, as per Toronto City Council bylaw.

- Small group sizes: We will follow Government guidelines for Unlicensed Childcare through a ratio of 1:5, meaning for every 1 Instructor there will be a maximum of 5 children (under the age of 13 years old).

- Enhanced hygiene and sanitation: Instructors will carry a hand-washing kit (soap & water) as well as hand sanitizer on them. Children will need to bring 1-masks and are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer and napkins.
